Hub Editoriale S.r.l. (hereinafter Hub) demonstrates its commitment and attention to the processing of the personal data of users of the website www.atlantemeccanica.com (hereinafter the “Site”) by adopting a personal data confidentiality policy in compliance with EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter GDPR), on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, and provisions of the Code on matters of protection of personal data (“Privacy Code”) contained in Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30 June 2003.
On this page, the methods of processing the personal data of users visiting the Site are described in a special privacy statement which is provided, in accordance with art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (GDPR) and art. 13 of the Privacy Code, to all those interacting with the web services provided by Hub, accessed by telematic means from the address: https://www.atlantemeccanica.com, the official home page of the Site.
The privacy statement is provided only for the Site and not for other websites that may be visited by the user via links on the Site.
The statement may be subject to amendments as a result of the introduction of new applicable regulations. We therefore invite the user to periodically check this page.
If the user is below 16 years old, in accordance with art. 8, paragraph 1 of the GDPR, his or her consent shall be lawful provided it is given or authorised by the holder of parental responsibility over the child.


Data Controller and Processory

Types of data processed and purpose of the processing

Visiting the Site may result in the processing of data that may identify directly or indirectly a natural person (e.g. name, surname, email address, telephone number, IP address).


Navigation data

Navigation data are those acquired automatically by systems and programs that are required for website functioning and necessary for utilizing the web services (e.g. IP addresses or domain names of terminals used by users).
These data may also be used to process anonymous statistics regarding website visits and to check that the website is functioning correctly. In these cases, the navigation data are not able to identify the users concerned and are deleted after their processing in anonymous form.
The navigation data may also be used to ascertain liability in the event of crimes causing damage to the website or committed through the website.


Data provided voluntarily by the user

Personal data provided by the user in order to make use of the services offered on the Site, in other words, in order to display the company data sheet in “the Directory” section: these data are processed to ensure the subscribed services are correctly provided and to follow up on requests made by users.
Personal data provided by the user required for participation in initiatives promoted by Hub: these data are processed to ensure that these activities are performed correctly. In the various sections where data are collected, a specific notice may be published providing information on the processing connected to that initiative. When necessary, Hub shall request the user’s consent before processing the personal data.
Information sent by users on an optional or voluntary basis to the addresses on the Site: these data (e.g. email address, subject of the email) are processed by the addressee of the message to follow up on requests received.


Cookies

The software applications used may contain “cookie” technology. The main aim of cookies is to facilitate browsing by the user. Cookies may provide information on browsing patterns within the Site and enable the functioning of certain services that require identification of the user’s path through the different pages of the Site. The cookies present in the software applications used are anonymous and the user’s personal data cannot be traced via these cookies. Irrespective of whether cookies are present or not, each time the portal is accessed, the type of browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, etc.), the operating system (e.g. Windows, Apple macOS), the host and source URL of the visitor are recorded, as well as data on the page requested. The user shall, however, be able to set his/her browser to notify him/her when a cookie is received and, therefore, decide whether or not to delete it. Cookies are divided into “session” and “persistent”; the first type, once downloaded, are removed when the browser is closed; the second, instead, are stored on the user/visitor’s hard disk until they expire. Persistent cookies are primarily used to facilitate web browsing, to understand which sections of the site have generated a certain number of pages and users, and also to supply advertising formats. Session cookies, instead, are primarily used during authentication, authorization and navigation in services that are accessed via registration".
Cookies vary according to the type of data they store and how long they are retained on the user’s device.


The Site uses the following cookies:

Session cookies. The use of session cookies, which are temporary and are erased when the browser is closed, is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) required to allow safe and efficient exploration of the Site. These cookies do not allow identification of the users concerned and their use does not require consent.
Analytic cookies. It is important to underline that the cookies used by the Site do not permit acquisition of the user’s personal data and cannot recall any other data from the user’s device, transmit computer viruses or obtain the user’s email address.
The cookies used by the Site shall not, for any reason, be associated to the user’s identification data and shall not be utilised to transmit information of a personal nature or to send personalised advertising.

The “Help” section present in most browsers explains how to prevent a browser from receiving cookies and how to obtain from the browser information on the receipt of such technologies or how to disable them completely.
The disabling of cookies may limit the possibilities for using the Site and prevent the user from benefitting fully from the Site’s functions and services.


Nature of the data provision

With the exception of navigation data, which are independently collected by the system, the personal data is submitted by the user on a voluntary basis. Any refusal to provide such data, however, would make it impossible to use of the services provided through the Site or follow up on any requests from users.
Hub reserves the right to stop supplying the services should the data provided prove to be untrue.


Place, method and duration of processing

The processing connected to the web services of the Site takes place at the offices of Hub and is carried out by technical staff specifically employed to process said data, using automated or manual tools, for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the data were collected. No data arising from use of the web service will be communicated or disclosed to third parties without the consent of the data subject, unless in cases where it is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the same data subject.
The personal data collected via the Site are processed in compliance with EU Regulation no. 679/2016 and Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003.
The personal data may be communicated to: i) external structures that perform on behalf of Hub support duties (e.g. legal services, IT services) in their capacity as Data Processor; ii) public entities in order to fulfil the obligations laid down by law, which perform their respective processing activities in their capacity as Autonomous Controllers.


Rights of the data subject

In application of the requirements of Chapter III “Rights of the data subject” in the GDPR, the rights of the user in relation to the processing of personal data performed on the Site is described below.
Hub intends, therefore, to inform the user on the existence of the following rights: (i) right of access to the data, (ii) the right to request rectification, erasure, or the restriction of processing, (iii) the right to object to processing, (iv) the right to data portability, (v) the right to withdraw consent to processing at any time, and (vi) the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
